Mario Kart… Wiiiiiiiiii

“Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” ~ John Lennon

You would think having a ‘nice camera’ and knowing how to operate it would mean I’d have amazing photos of my family on a daily basis.  <<insert rolling laughter here>>   Hahahaaa mmm… NO.  That’s a BIG MYTH.   It’s a rare occasion when the boys let me bring out the camera and don’t moan for me to put it away (poor guys were my adorable subjects while I practiced, practiced, practiced).  Truth be told, it’s been awhile since I’ve photographed my family with anything other than my iPhone.  But, something about our non-eventful last weekend made me grab it and take a few of us, just being us.  In our Sunday’s best.  😉  And I’m so glad I did.

We are a Mario Kart loving family!  We have so much fun playing together, and Noah even loves getting in on the action by ‘co-driving’ on our laps.  I love it.  Lukas quickly mastered the controls & wheel all by himself… what happened to my baby boy?!  Before I know it, he’ll have a set of real keys and wheels.

Our morning together… the messy hair, messy faces, messy house, and still in our pj’s… the real stuff.  The good stuff.

Something tells me this photo will mean so much to me in the future…

Love him <3

“I’m sorry… are we boring you?”  😉

Did you catch that?  The transition from chillax Noah (letting Daddy do all the work) to “Oh… I think I’ll drive again…”  Blink & you miss it, but having these 2 photos will always remind me of his cute lil’ behaviors.

Sccccooooorrreeeee!!!

Peekaboo 🙂

Show-off.  😉
