Throwing Sand

Last week, I took my boys out to a local baseball field for some running around & playtime with their toys (a grand mix of a talking airplane, Cars cars, and Thomas trains).  I brought the camera with me to just try to capture some moments, as it’s been awhile since I’ve turned the camera on my little guys.  Nothing posed.  It was no time until Noah discovered the sandy soil around the  bases.

At first he loved sticking his hands in the dirt and playing & patting the ground.  And then out of no where, in the blink of an eye, Mister Mister is coming my way with fistfulls  of sand (unexpected & expected – hindsight being 20/20!)…

I don’t know why I kept shooting, but I did… as I was 1 second away from getting pelted by sand…

Well, Noah thought this was all fun & games to get Mommy and her camera…. but obviously I was not laughing.  I’m all for my kids goofing around, but the line draws at “it is never ok to throw sand at a person and at mommy’s camera”.  So Noah got a little talking to… and this was the resulting facial expression…

Awh… it’s tough to stay mad at that face  🙂

More to come from our little playdate (including some of my other little man – who has yet to grace his presence on the blog!), but just wanted to post… Happy Wednesday to you!
