oh christmas tree

Mom’s christmas tree is always so lovely… and oh-so-much fun to capture!  I couldn’t resist a little bokeh (light that’s out of focus) and light painting…

It’s amazing how a little piece of something hanging off a branch can mean so much.  Mom and I collect a few of the same ornaments each year, and it brings a smile to my face to see them up on both of our trees… a special connection over state lines, if you will.  I gave her the red bird a few years ago (and kept one for myself) because after all, the cardinal is Virginia’s state bird.   🙂

I just want to take a moment to say thank you.  From the bottom of my heart.  I can’t tell you how much if means to me that you’ve taken the time to check out my images, comment, share, you name it.  It means more to me than you’ll ever know.  Your support is one of the biggest Christmas gifts that I am fortunate to receive throughout the year, and I just want you to know that I am deeply grateful.

Merry Christmas, y’all!!  Wishing you the very best this season and throughout the year!
