NYC with Laura

One of my best friends was in town last weekend, and we had the opportunity to head into NYC for the day.  When a photographer goes anywhere, chances are the camera comes along too… and when there are two photographers out for a little sightseeing, then cameras are a guaranteed thing!!  I had so much fun showing Laura around my old stompin’ grounds (after all, I lived in Manhattan for ~3 years) and getting to experience the city through her eyes (her first time!).  The humidity was off the charts (we swam thru the air, not walked) and must’ve sweated off a bazillion gallons of water… and that was only covering lower Manhattan!

I was a lazy stinker and only took a few photos… Laura captured many many more great times from our day: click here to see her awesome images!   Here are my favs that I took from our day…

Lunch at Coffee Shop was delish!

Vespas everywhere… silver, blue, you name it…

Miss LG working it on this super-cute street we found…

Random models in progress…

See Larry?  He’s the guy in the black kimono w/red sash chatting it up with the folks…

… he’s quite the pigeon lover.

Lucky Laura and I got the chance to hang with the birds (and Larry)…

Hello to my new friend 🙂

(sidenote: how is it possible to look this pretty in million degree heat?!)

Thanks for the show, Larry!

Like I said, I got lazy at this point & retired my camera for the rest of the day.  Time to whip out the trusty iPhone…

Mmmaaaaannnnnnyyyyyy more from our time in NYC over at Laura’s website… go check them out!   Soho and subway rides and Times Square, oh my!  🙂
