Matthew | Teen

It is so cool to have a little reunion with people you haven’t seen in years, but you once saw daily.   Matthew’s parents Rob & Patti were our super-awesome next door neighbors growing up, and I still remember them as a newly married couple before children.  Time goes by & we eventually both moved, but our families have kept in touch over the years and I loved seeing R&P at my wedding 7 years ago.

I finally had the chance to meet their children last weekend when I was back visiting folks in Virginia.  I barely remember Matthew as a newborn 18 years ago… and what a tall (6’3″!) & handsome man he’s grown up to be!!  He’s one of the sweetest guys around too.  I really enjoyed our chats during our session and quickly picked up on his good nature & easy going personality.  It’s been big times lately for this guy… senior prom and high school graduation these past few weeks… and this fall he’s off to Virginia Tech… goooo Hokies!!!

Matthew – you rock.  I’m so happy we had this chance to take your photos that morning (even though you could’ve fried an egg outside with those temps!!)  I’m excited to hear about all of your upcoming campus adventures and hope I’ll be seeing you & the fam again sooner than another 18 (or 7!) years.  🙂  Here are a few of my favs from our session…

R&P ~ It was so wonderful to see you again and meet your (grown!) children and well as have you meet my little guys!!  I loved my session with Matthew and can’t wait to reconnect with you again soon… maybe for Hanna’s senior photos perhaps?  Give Whitney a big rub from me, too!!  😉

Patti - All the pictures are excellent, but I especially like your close-up of his hands. You often see it with babies or weddings, but I think your spin on this photo is really cool. There is one photo where I can see his blue-green eyes clearly. Thanks for all of the great shots!ReplyCancel
