Emily | Portrait

Happy Monday!!  How amazing is this weather?!  I’m loving our ‘cold’ season (ha) and soaking in these warm, sunny days.  This past weekend, I took advantage of the warm temps and got together with my photografriend Emily of Emily Photography for a little shoot-out fun… I photographed her and she photographed me!!   We had soooo much FUN together (giddy as 2 schoolgirls!) and it was so cool alternating from behind the camera and taking turns in front.  🙂

We couldn’t have timed our duo session any better with the sun setting and great location… and we were laughing and having so much fun playing, even the deer dropped in to see what all the commotion was about!  No joke.

Without further ado, here are my images of the lovely Miss Em…

Emily and I met through our Nikon connection… we both shoot with the D700 and it’s been so great to chit-chat “apples to apples”!

The sunlight was breaking through the trees and created this cast for a moment, giving off this crazy-warm glow… that silly sun…

What a natural  🙂

Love Em’s glasses… they fit her so well!  And love her nose ring, too!!

Well, helloooo there, green-eyes-with-a-touch-of-brown!  Bella!!

Hey look!  It’s me, shooting you, shooting me, shooting you!!  This was just as much fun (if not more) than us taking pics of each other sans camera…

Love these 🙂

One last photo… of US!  We couldn’t leave without taking a pic together, which was a tiny circus of holding up a heavy camera, trying to focus, and pressing the shutter (not to mention we were too close for the camera to properly focus!)…  I love this shot though.  We had a blast together… what a great time!!

I cannot WAIT to see Emily’s photos from our time together!!!  Link to come soon!  Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my end of the camera.   🙂
