It’s time to blow the dust off this ol’ blog and keep posting!! Please excuse my lapse of updates, but last week we were hit with that crazy storm in the Northeast that knocked our power out for the week! We’re happy to have it back on now & it’s time to get cooking’ again!!
A few weeks ago, I had a super-fun session with Tracy and her family. They also live in my town… so great to meet more neighbors! As soon as they arrived & got out of their cars, I immediately saw their amazing curly locks & did a big happy dance inside… hooray for naturally curly hair!! As the session started, I quickly picked up on the love in this family… such great interactions with one another!!
We did what any family of four does with little ones… we met at the park, we played, we laughed, we were silly, and LOTS of running around! It was a great fall-ish day… not too cold… and we scored with having the park to ourselves. Mom & Dad rocked and were game for anything, including some couple time at the end of our session. Love!
Without further ado, please meet cutie-pie Miss Olivia… oh, and the fabulous Duckie 🙂 Livie was a little camera shy at first, but Duckie really worked magic and it was go time!
We started our session with taking some of the whole family together, and the result are some of my favorite candid shots of family that I just had to share…
Such a beautiful family!
One beautiful momma with her girl…
… and introducing the other half of this super-cute dynamic duo… Miss Emily!!
Oh wait… couldn’t leave a certain fluffy 4-legged one out of the mix! Meet the newly adopted family member, Lucky! Hooray for rescues 🙂
A little peekaboo with Duckie…
Love! I just can’t get over those curls!
I love this one… just a quick down-time moment…
I found myself with BIG smiles while editing these photos of Daddy with Olivia… sooo sweet!
This is a favorite!
I know I’ve said it before, but it’s so true… SUCH a beautiful family!!
Umm… somebody has Mommy’s necklace in her hands… but with cuteness like this, how can you resist that smile?
Miss Emmie had her own little furry friend, too… a very yummy rabbit…
We found a big rock towards the end of our session, and it was perfect for a little bench for the girls!
It’s so easy to wear the “mom” or the “dad” hat all the time, but I also like to recognize the “couple” part, too! I asked T & E if we could do a few shots of just them together, and they were awesome to say yes! Your smiles make ME smile!!
You guys are SO stinkin’ cute… I love it!
This one sums it up for me… yep… look at that awesome hug. Now THAT is love! 🙂
Tracy & Elias ~ Thank you so much for allowing me to capture you… what a great family!! It was so nice to meet you all, and I had so much fun with you and your adorable curly-girls. I hope you enjoy your images!
