If there’s anything y’all know about me from this blog, it’s most likely that my favorite peeps to photograph are teens. 🙂 I really do love each & every one of my sessions, but there’s an extra zig to my zag for teen sessions.
I met Hannah at my Heather Photography booth during Oktoberfest a few months ago. She recognized a few schoolmates’ images that I had on display, and she was super-friendly to stop by and say a happy hello! I remember her putting her name into the drawing for my Teen Session Giveaway and her remarking “I really want to win… but I never win these things” as she dropped her name into the vase. Well, there’s a funny little story here… After the event, I drew names but Hannah’s was not picked. I contacted the winner of the contest, and long story short – no reply back for days! I was wondering what to do when Hannah happened to IM me Facebook & told me she was bummed to not win the session with me. I immediately offered her the giveaway, and she was psyched & ready to roll! It was definitely a win-win. 🙂
Our session was super laid back & definitely a go-with-the-flow vibe. We picked a beautiful warmish weekday afternoon (high temps for autumn!), and met Hannah after school to start our session! As soon as I started chatting with Hannah, I immediately got that she’s a well rounded & down to earth kind of soul. She’s fun, athletic, loves to smile & laugh, a natural beauty, and has much love for her family and friends… an awesome mix of the good stuff. 🙂

Karen King - Wow what a natural beauty, the photos are pretty great also. Can’t think of anything else other than well done Heather well done. She has a tough task picking her fav when they are all so good, but I think my fav out of all of them is the 6th one from the bottom.
