Catching Up & Checking In

Hello again to everyone!  It’s been awhile!  Too long, in fact.  The family & I were hanging at beach all last week (along with visiting my folks down in VA), which explains my absence from my website and Facebook page.

Not to mention the awesome opportunity to second shoot my very 1st wedding last Saturday with a great friend & talented photog Stacy!  Wedding photos will be posted in the next week or so; stay tuned for those… sooo…

As nice as it was to put my laptop & camera down for a little last week, I’m back in the saddle & ready to GO!  Autumn is official HERE and I’m ready to get this party STARTED!!  🙂  Mini sessions are around the corner and there’s still time to book.  Info on minis can be found by clicking on this link, and they’re perfect for getting some great photos for holiday cards and gifts.  And of course, regular sessions are always available too – weekdays or weekends.

Today’s session was all about trying out a potential location for my upcoming minis on Nov 5th!  My model extraordinaire Lexi was so awesome to come along and play today while I checked out the space.  Sooo much fun!  Check out a sneak peek from today…

Sarah - Hi Heather! I found your website through Laura Gordon’s while looking at her recent wedding shoot and I just LOVE your photography. I’m sort of jealous of all you Nikon people, but at the same time, I have to remind myself that Canon and Nikon aren’t that different at all. It’s the lenses. And I think I just need some better ones, lol. I work at a white-collar-desk job as a receptionist and I would trade it any day for a photography career. So I know how you felt. It’s great you actually got to do it! I also know how great it feels to take a break from the laptop and the websites and Facebook pages. It gets stressful!
