IHF | I’m a favorite!

Yesterday, I was giddier than a schoolgirl on a date with Justin Bieber.  Seriously.  We were exploring the Central Park Zoo & my phone dinged (meaning new message) and I found out in that my photo was selected in the I Heart Faces – Pet Challenge!!!   Yipppeeeee!!!  How funny to have a ‘win’ in an animal contest while visiting… animals!  I don’t think the polar bear was quite as excited as I was… I squealed, and he didn’t even flinch.  🙂

My photo of Boone was chosen as a favorite, but it really feels like I won 1st place.   To be chosen among some *fantastic* pet entries is a true honor.  My fellow photogs are amazing!!  And I feel like it’s a DOUBLE win because the I was showcased on IHF’s Facebook page a few days prior.  Wow.  Talk about feeling like I won 1st place TWICE!  I’m so grateful for such recognition.

I decided to show a few others I took of Boone because he’s just too darned cute.  I wish I had a full session with this pup rather than just meeting him in passing.  Those brown eyes and that smile melt my heart!!
